Each time we give a student a reusable water bottle we are potentially removing hundreds to thousands of plastic water bottle from the environment. There are Facts upon facts that we could put up on this page to urge you to buy a bottle (or two), we will share a few on our canteen page. But, the real reason you should purchase the bottles from this site, is that 100% of the profits go back into buying more bottles and giving them away free to school children like those at our school.
Once we have met our campus wide goal, our students have decided to pay it forward and take any additional profits and give back to the charities that have provide us with scholarships along the way.
So... Click the link here, and purchase your bottle today, or tell a friend by clicking and liking the facebook page here.

‘No Shot, No School’ for Students in Seventh through 12th Grades
Los Angeles—A new state law, effective July 1, prohibits secondary students in grades 7 through 12 from attending school if they cannot produce proof of a pertussis or whooping cough (Tdap) booster shot.
In the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the new requirement will initially affect students scheduled to start school on Tuesday, July 5, at five year-round campuses that operate on a multi-track calendar. There is no grace period.
The schools are: Bell High School, Fremont High School, Huntington Park High School, Gage Middle School and Ellen Ochoa Learning Center.
Students who come to school without proof of the whooping cough (Tdap or pertussis) vaccination will either be sent home and may not return until they get the shot, or they will be assigned to remain in the auditorium or a non-instructional area until they meet the new requirement. Approximately 40 percent of LAUSD students scheduled to enter the affected grades have not had the vaccination.
The immunization has been mandated by the state of California because of an epidemic of this highly-contagious bacterial disease, specifically an increase in the number of cases among teenagers.
Parents and guardians seeking a public health location where the shots are available may call the L.A. County Information Line at 2-1-1. Information about county clinics is also available at: http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/index.htm
